The expenses scandal brought the reputation of Parliament into disrepute and I shared the anger of the general public at the abuse of taxpayers’ money. That is why Tracey pledged to be open and transparent about her own expenses.
The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority publish MP's expenses on a quarterly basis but Tracey has also published her own expenses more regularly. In March 2011, IPSA made some changes to what can be claimed.
In order to make the expenses as transparent as possible, from the start of each new financial year Tracey has broken her claims into two categories: claims that are effectively office costs i.e. those relating to suppliers, and claims which are considered personal expenses i.e second home allowance/London overnight hotel stay.
You can find the details of Tracey's expenses to date below. The total for the financial year 2016- 2017 to date is now available. If you would like further details please do not hesitate to contact Tracey directly via email.
